Trash and recyclable pick-up by the Village is for residents who use the Village bag system. Trash is to be placed in "Village of Pulaski" bags that may be purchased at Deaton's, Kinney Drugs, Nice & Easy, P&C Food Market, and Sun-up Foods. The cost is $1.40 for a small bag and $2.15 for a large. Residents are encouraged to place trash bags in a secured contatiner.
Recyclables should be placed in a clear trash bag or plastic container. Recyclables consist of glass, metal, plastic, paper beverage cartons, dry newspapers, dry egg cartons, corrugated cardboard & pizza boxes.
Household hazardous wastes such as scrap metal, propane tanks, fluorescent bulbs, dry cell batteries, and motor oil will not be picked up by the Village hauler. These items can be taken to a County transfer station at no charge.
Yard waste, such as leaves, brush, and tree limbs will be picked up by the Village Department of Public Works on the second and fourth Tuesday or Wednesday of each month.
For more information on recycling, call the Oswego Transfer Station at 315-298-6062 or stop by the Village Office for a Residential Recycling Poster.
